Quickparts is pleased to announce the election of Randall Barko to the Board of Directors at the Annual Shareholders meeting last week. Barko is the former Corporate Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions and former President and CEO of the Nypro Medical Products Group. After joining Nypro in 1981, Barko was primarily involved in global business development. Prior to this role, Barko held the position of Vice President, Marketing and Business Development at Nypro for 17 years. He helped Nypro grow from $40 million to more than $1 billion in sales globally.
He served as a member of the Nypro Inc. Board of Directors for more than ten years. Barko is also the past Chairman of Nypro Asia/Pacific and past Chairman of Nypro Europe. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for a number of Nypro joint venture companies during their formative periods including Amitech, Automated Assemblies Corporation, Nypro Tijuana, Nypro Singapore, Nypro Tianjin, Nypro Ireland, Nypro Hungary and Radius Product Development.
Barko graduated from the University of Notre Dame and has also completed numerous executive leadership programs including Duke University Fuqua Business School, Dartmouth College Amos Tuck Business School, University of Limerick Ireland, Central European University of Hungary and The National University of Singapore.
Prior to Nypro, Barko held senior management positions at Hallmark Plastics in Buffalo, New York and Peninsula Plastics in Erie, Pennsylvania.
